The Little House That Built Me

I have always been drawn to stories—whether told through words, art, or the spaces we create. As an author, illustrator, and designer, my passion for home and creativity is woven into everything I do.

If I had to point to one book that shaped my artistic journey, it would be The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton. As a child, I loved its warmth and timeless charm, but I didn’t realize how deeply it had influenced me until I rediscovered it as a mother. Like Burton, I often see stories unfold visually before finding their words, and I believe that home—both in design and in storytelling—is at the heart of everything meaningful.

Welcome to Hill and Nest, a place where my love for home, design, art, and books finally comes together. I hope you find inspiration here, just as I have found it in the little details that make a house a home.
